What age can someone start martial arts training?
While martial arts training can start at any age, many of our programs have classes designed for children as young as 4 years old. We also have adult classes, ensuring there's a suitable program for everyone, regardless of age.
Do I need any prior experience to join a class?
No prior experience is necessary! Our coaches tailor their training style and techniques, as well as the paired partner to suit the experience of the trainee.
What should I wear to my first class?
For your first class, wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for easy movement. As you continue your training, we recommend purchasing a uniform (often called a gi or dobok), which can be bought directly from our studio or a specialized retailer. However, do note that the clothes must cover from Shoulders to knees.
How often should I attend classes to see progress?
We recommend attending classes at least twice a week for consistent progress. However, the frequency can vary based on individual goals, schedules, and the specific martial art discipline.
